Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy healing practice that helps the body slow down and return to balance. It can be supportive when your mind is busy, your body feels tense, or you know you need to rest but find it hard to switch off. Rather than giving you more to think about, Reiki offers a quiet, embodied experience of calm.

Yes. Reiki is gentle and safe. It works alongside medical care but doesn’t replace it. If you have health concerns or treatments underway, continue working with your care provider.

Each session follows the same simple structure: a short check-in, the Reiki session, and a brief debrief at the end. For in-person sessions, you lie down fully clothed while I place my hands lightly on or near different areas of the body. For online sessions, we meet by video call and you rest in a quiet space while I offer Reiki from a distance. You do not need to talk during the Reiki itself. Many people experience warmth, tingling, emotional release, deep relaxation, or a quieter mind.
-
No preparation is needed. You do not need to know exactly what you want to work on or have the right words for what you are feeling. For online sessions, choose a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted.
-
It depends on what you want support with. Some people book one session to reset, rest, or reconnect with themselves. Others choose a series when they want more regular support and a stronger sense of grounding over time. After your first session, you can decide what feels right.
-
Reiki can support you when you feel stressed, tense, overwhelmed, heavy, tired, disconnected, or unable to fully switch off. Many people come because they understand themselves well, but still struggle to feel calm, grounded, or at ease in their body.
